Wyclef Jean Lends Support to Lauryn Hill

Lauryn Hill, Grammy Award-winning singer, was given a two-week grace period on her sentencing for federal tax evasion on Monday.  Hill, a solo artist and a member of  The Fugees rap trio, pleaded guilty in June 2012 for failure to file federal tax returns from 2005-2007, when she earned $1.8 million.  She faces up to a year in prison for each charge.
Fellow Fugee member, Wyclef Jean recently stated during a with interview with Green Lantern and Boss Lady for Invasion Radio,
"If she’s listening, my door is always open."
Lawyers for Hill stated:
they made a $50,000 payment toward the back taxes however still need to come up with another $504,000 by May 3rd and Hill has lined up a deal with a “hard money-lender” for a loan which was secured by two real estate assets which they expect approval of the loan sometime this week.
The final sentencing hearing has been rescheduled for May 6th.
Do you think Lauryn will be able to get out of this mess?
